Lore's original enclosure

The green semi-transparent PLA-PHA bioplastic originally used from Lore's enclosure was discontinued. Since July 2026 the enclosure has been a clear PLA bioplastic, due to sourcing issues for semi-transparent PHA-based filaments.

Photos of the previous design are archived here, for the curious. The STL file to print your own is available here. This design will NOT work in PLA - it will be too brittle at the fold points. It hasn't been tested with any petro-plastics (PETG, etc). It works very well in any PHA or PLA-PHA blend. Layer height 0.2mm, no supports.
